Future Perspectives Partners with Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development
We are thrilled to unveil a groundbreaking partnership between Future Perspectives and the Lagos State Ministry of Youth & Social Development (MYSD) to launch the 2025 Canada Study Tour, themed “Empower Lagos.” This transformative initiative is designed to equip young leaders with global insights through immersive learning and cultural exchange.
Abby Asekun, Co-founder of Future Perspectives, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende, Honorable Commissioner of Lagos State MYSD, and Pharm (Mrs.) Toyin Oke-Osayintolu, the Permanent Secretary, formally signed the partnership agreement.
In collaboration with the prestigious Queen’s University in Canada, this program reflects our shared commitment to investing in the future of Nigerian youth, offering them a platform to explore innovation, leadership, and education on a global stage.
According to the Commissioner “this is more than a ceremonial event it is a reaffirmation of the State Government’s unwavering dedication to youth development, global exposure and inclusive leadership. It exemplifies what we can do when we embrace partnership, vision and deposit great investment in our young people. This tour not only broadens our youth leaders’ perspectives but also equips them with relevant skills to contribute meaningfully to policymaking, innovation and community impact back home. It will empower our youth leaders to think globally, lead confidently and act with a strong sense of civic responsibility.”
This July, Future Perspectives will proudly lead a delegation of Lagos Youth Leaders and Ministry staff on a two-week journey of growth, discovery, and inspiration.
From Lagos to Canada, we are building bridges of knowledge, culture, and opportunity. Together, we are shaping a generation ready to lead with vision and purpose.
